Four brave members of staff took to the skies last weekend for a tandem charity skydive in support of Trinity Hospice.
Our thrill-seekers, Mark Watkinson, Kevan Dixon, Leanne Dawson and Carl Woods took off from the Black Knights Parachute Centre airfield and, after reaching 12,000ft, they faced their fears and jumped!
They flew through the clouds, freefalling at 120mph before opening the parachute and descending gently to the ground to the cheers of colleagues, family and friends.

Speaking with Leanne afterwards, she had this to say about the experience:
“On the day of the parachute jump I was so excited, unlike the day before; I was so nervous, I couldn’t eat or sleep!
I honestly can’t put into words how it felt to free fall through the sky, it’s such a rush, it’s surreal.
The moment the parachute opens it’s just silence, an overwhelming tingling down your spine, taking in the views, it’s actually quite emotional….. just AMAZING!!

I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to take part and raise money for such a great charity, and I would do it all again given the chance!”

Leanne, Mark, Kevan and Carl have so far, raised a combined total of over £4,100 and we’d like to say a massive thank you to all who have supported us so far with our efforts to raise money for Trinity Hospice.
