Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Contractors
West Lancashire Group was incorporated in 2012 as an Electrical Contracting company, in 2014 due to demand our Facilities Maintenance Division was formed to assist with long term planned maintenance requirements.
Our FM Division has now developed into a Nationwide Facilities Maintenance service for a broad spectrum of diverse organisations throughout the UK.
Due to continued client demands for a single source of MEP design, installation and responsibility, we established our Mechanical Division in 2016 facilitating a fully integrated MEP building services approach, further supported by our FM Division providing post completion planned and reactive maintenance.
In 2017 BIM/Revit was introduced as a natural progression from AutoCAD, providing fully coordinated MEP Revit models, further assisting in the early stages of the design and development process of the buildings, including creating direct efficiencies in the proposed building construction works.
In 2018, due to continued growth, we relocated to our new office facility on Poulton Business Park which has provided the business a greatly improved operational facility and further expansion capacity.

As the technologies in buildings continues to develop, the ongoing training and development of the skills required to support these systems are evolving along with the increasing capital investment in MEP services. Necessitating an extremely broad knowledge base from IT and process systems, developing industry standards and health and safety legislation.
Through partnering opportunities with industry providers, we have continued to further development our apprentice training programme, employing local young people providing them with a professional qualification and recognised industry trade ensuring excellent career path opportunities ensuring a long-term future them and their families.
As part of our continuing staff development from school leavers, first year apprentices, through to Electricians/Fitters and Approved Electricians/Technicians many of our staff have progressed their careers to Site Management and Contract Management roles bringing with them the knowledge gained over the past years, whereby they are now assisting in training the next generation of apprentices for the future.
We are proud to support our clients with their School engagement process to assist bringing young people into the industry.
As part of our management procedures all our staff have continual training and personal development appraisals to ensure we maintain and develop opportunities for individuals to exceed.
