Project: Cornwall Building – Birmingham

Overview

Bruntwood, a family-owned property company which owns high profile buildings across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds has instructed Brown & Bancroft Interiors to deliver an extensive refurbishment at Cornwall Buildings in Birmingham. The Grade II listed building offers 28,500 sq ft of serviced office space and meeting rooms in the heart of the City’s Colmore business district. Improvements to the premises are set to include a new furniture package and installation of a coffee station on the ground floor, works to reinstate Cat A standard office accommodation on the first, second and third floors, redecoration of all common areas and WC’s, and further refurbishment works to selected suites.

Scope of Work

Working closely with the Brown & Bancroft team, West Lancashire Group have developed a fully considered MEP Engineering systems for this landmark Grade II listed building to facilitate the new Office spaces, Boardroom, and w.c’s, inclusive of integrated Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Power, Data, Fire and Ventilation and Cooling systems.

Specialist Bank, Oak North, has moved into a new office in Manchester at Ship Canal House.

The office, which has capacity for 60 people, has 3,238 sq ft of space and is located on King Street.

Located on Hulley Road, Sunrise House is a two storey multi-tenanted office building boasting great links to the town’s transport hubs. Coalfire Ltd, City Tower – Manchester

Global cyber security company Coalfire is to move its European and UK headquarters to 5,500 sq ft premises in Manchester’s City Tower

The move, which is scheduled to take place in early 2020, will see Coalfire occupy space on the 28th floor of the Piccadilly Plaza building.

The technology firm, which has its headquarters in Denver, opened its Manchester office in 2013 as a one-person operation but has since expanded to a team of 30. Coalfire employs more than 800 people across 11 sites, 10 of which are in the US.
