Project: Market Walk – Chorley
Overview
As part of the Market Walk extension work that took place throughout 2019, Chorley saw some exciting businesses come to Market Walk. The new development provides a six-screen Reel Cinema, M&S Foodhall, Crazy golf course, Bowling alley, Loungers restaurant and more.
Scope of Work
Working closely with Chorley Councils team and the Eric Wright Construction project team to develop the site wide infrastructure strategy works for this multi tenanted development, including the completion of enabling works to the car park areas to maintain operational use of the town centre parking facilities.
Site wide LV Distribution, Primary Containment, Lighting, Emergency Lighting including controls, Pay on Foot and Electric Vehicle Charging facilities, Ventilation Systems and MCW services.
HV & Site wide Security, CCTV and Fire Alarm strategy including interfacing to all tenanted units working with several fit-out teams across the development.
The project also involved the provision of new MEP services to parking facilities , in the form of a new build pre-fabricated multi-storey car park, as well as further localised parking facilities within the town centre.

Hale Barns – Apartments & Retail Space
Eric Wright Construction undertook this £8.1m, five storey prestigious development to deliver 24 luxury residential apartments across the upper 3 floors, together with sub-basement parking. The development provided an integrated building covering 2,700m2 for a Booths store with a further 1005m2 of Retail space for other high-end retailers.
The Stock Exchange Hotel – Manchester
The former trading floor of the Manchester Stock Exchange has been named as one of the World’s Best New Luxury Hotels.
MEP design and installation under D&B contract to form a boutique 5-star hotel including luxury Penthouse and Suites, Restaurants, Private Lounges, Conferencing, Michelin 2* chef commercial catering facilities, plus all back of house and support services.
Working with an international team of architects, structural engineers, planners, fit out specialists and interior designers to create this world-class hotel facility.
